Nasreddine Nabi has urged his troops to quickly forget Sekhukhune defeat ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup

The glamour boys suffered a 3-1 disappointing defeat against Babina Noko at the highly anticipated Betway Premiership encounter hosted under the floodlights of FNB Stadium on a Tuesday night.

Bradley Globler’s brace and Thabang Monare’s brilliant individual goal saw Babina Noko climb to the top of the Betway Premiership log standings with new signing Flavio Da Silva scoring Chiefs’ consolation goal.

“We need to bring ourselves together to push for the next game because it’s going to be a knockout game for the next two games. That’s a different approach,” the head coach said.

“We really need to get into the first game really, really well and work very hard, and as well push the players to forget about today and concentrate on the next game.” Nasreddine Nabi told reporters on Tuesday.

Kaizer Chiefs will now switch focus from domestic football to Continental football as they travel to Angola to face Kabuscorp Sport Club on Saturday, 20 September 2025, at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The first preliminary round will kick off at 17h00 SA time, and the action will be beamed live on SABC 2.
