Relebohile Mofokeng after Orlando Pirates MTN8 triumph against Stellenbosch FC at Mbombela Stadium.

‘Pirates is his house, and he’s loved by everyone’ – Ouddou waves lyrically on Relebohile Mofokeng

Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouddou has come out to heap praises on Relebohile Mofokeng’s eye-catching display against TS Galaxy on Tuesday’s Betway Premiership encounter, where the Buccaneers walked away with 3 Points after a 2-0 win at Orlando Stadium to move to third place in the log standings.

The 20-year-old attacker started in an unfamiliar position on Tuesday, as he started as an attacking midfielder rather than in his regular position as a Left Winger and played the entire 90 minutes against The Rockets.

“First of all, as a coach and as an ex-professional football player, it’s important to give love to your players,” the Orlando Pirates head coach said after defeating TS Galaxy 2-0 on Tuesday evening

“To show them trust, to build a strong value between your players. This is very important, we are not speaking about tactics, we’re not speaking about technique.

“We are speaking about a human being. So, these things are very important. And the other thing is that he’s in his house. He has some fantastic people in the club, the management people who love him, and he loves the club,” he added.

“So, he feels the love inside the club. It’s what keeps him going, and he was fantastic today; I was impressed with his performance – I hope he will keep going like that and show the best of Rele.” Ouddou told Reporters last night at Orlando Stadium.

The Buccaneers will be back in action on Saturday, 04 October, when they welcome Siwelele FC at Orlando Stadium at 15h00 in the Carling Knockout Round of 16, and it will be televised on SuperSport PSL Channel 202 and SABC Sport.
