Kalafong Hospital in Pretoria West faces ongoing low water pressure following repairs to a burst pipe near a local railway station, disrupting services since Saturday.
According to the Gauteng Health Department, the facility is utilizing boreholes and storage tanks to sustain essential medical care.
Department spokesperson Steve Mabona confirmed that while critical units remain functional, administrative sections, casualty, and outpatient clinics are affected. Consequently, non-emergency outpatient visits are being rescheduled, and the public is urged to use alternative facilities for routine care. The department expressed regret for the disruption
